Locked: Begun nearly six years ago, Locked is the production/musician team of Robb Hart and Brad Worrell (aka Brad Goop). The two have been working musicians for far longer than that, Robb having toured much of Europe and the States in Rain Still Falls (Deep Elm Records). Brad was the chief songwriter and guitarist for The Goops (Warner/Reprise) touring with Rancid, Offspring and Garbage and appearing on MTV's Beavis & Butthead and 120 Minutes as well as the Mallrats soundtrack. After The Goops, Brad became producer/guitarist/songwriter with the 2nd incarnation of NYC's Clowns for Progress aka CFP (Flipside/Last Beat).
Since forming their alliance, the two have created their own music and remixed that of others including J-Kwon, Usher, Butthole Surfers, Adema and Babyface. They've also produced up and comers such as Borialis, Mike Down and Y (Yoav). Their first 12" was released on the Top Shelf Recordings label in 2002. Some of their original compositions have also been licensed for national TV spots for Panasonic, Reeses and G-Shock.
Wide Mouth Bass: (that's pronounced "base" like the guitar) includes the addition of superstar DJ Damon Zwarin (Shimmer & Stumble) who came on board for the J-Kwon and Usher remixes. They got the name from the unique decor at their homebase studio at Soundwag HQ which includes a mounted Large Mouth Bass and a wild boar's head.
